"The Henry Repeating Arms Co., a rifle maker specializing in Civil War-era lever action guns, won unanimous approval Tuesday night from the Planning Board to move from Brooklyn to 59 East First St., off Lexington Avenue."

I don't write 'em...I just posted it.  :P

::)  Right. IMO they are a dishonest company. They have about as much legacy from the original company as Obama does from Harry Truman.

Yea it`s sad ..I know those folks on the planning board don`t know a thing about Civil War Era lever action guns ..HRAC seems to bank on that ..enough said .. :-X

Well, I see they are keeping their tradition of misrepresenting themselves. Wonder why they decided to move out of Brooklyn. I was in that section of Brooklynn just this past weekend, and I suspect the rents are skyrocketing. I dunno if they own or rent, but if they found cheaper rent in Jersey, plus got a grant from the state, it probably makes good sense to move. I just wish they would stop with their tradition of misrepresenting themselves as something they are not. I will never buy any of their products while they continue that tradition.
That's bad business! How long do you think I'd stay in operation if it cost me money every time I pulled a job? If he'd pay me that much to stop robbing him, I'd stop robbing him.

Ya probably inherited every penny ya got!

That's why I highlighted that part of the sentence in my original posting.

Yup!
I wonder how many "sheep" swallow this mis-information and think this company is really making "civil war era lever guns".  How many will one day discover that they have been mis-informed...and mislead.

I think I'll pass on that shooting match.

Regarding HRAC moving, So What.  I'm still not going to get one.  My next Henry will be an iron frame.

My Henry is a brass frame military model.  I was thinking of adding an iron frame model as well.
Do I need it?  No...but that's not the point, is it?
It....is....callling me........

Sod Buster,

I don't need one either, but I still want one.  Just like I want a pair each of 1851 & 1861 Navies.  And another leech and Rigdon and so many others.
