I know this has probably been mentioned before, but is there a current US source for either of these items?

Uberti hasn't made a musket for several years.  I've been looking for one for a long time.  They are hard to find.  You can find originals on the auction sites easier than the Uberti reproductions.

Muskets are listed neither in the current Uberti catalog and nor on their website.
If you really want one badly you may want to check with Suzanne Webb at Uberti's in Gardone: suzanne.webb@ubertireplicas.it and see if they have some barrels and forends for the 73 musket left (that's how I got my Steel Henry in .44 Special/Colt). In the afirmative case they will probably gladly assemble a musket for you from existing parts and ship it to your dealer.
In my case here in Germany I had her within 5 weeks.
