A while back, someone put a website in TFS where one could get a pair of original Levis.  I think they were about 70 bucks a pair, but they were just like the originals.  Does anyone know about this?  If so, drop that website in there.  Thanks!

I bought some of those Old 73's. they are great! just like the originals, except for the stitch line on the pocket which is Levi protected. They're even made out of the original red line denim like the Levis we bought as kids in the 50's. Be sure to buy big enough so they will shrink to you.

I just received an e-mail from those folks today.  The lady who made those original Levis...isn't making them anymore.  So...when their stock is gone....that's it!

It might be worth a shot to see if they still have them in your size.

Hi All,

Other than these originals and Levi's 501, does any other current manufacturer make button fly jeans?  For a reasonable price.

Never really cared for zippers.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Now where did I put that fuming nitric acid?

Does anyone smell smoke?

Professor:  If you use the Google search motor and type in "Button Fly Jeans" you will find a number of places that have them.  WARNING! Do not click on the Nordstrom site unless you want to pay $100.00+ for the jeans.  They have jeans in there for $150.00+ dollars a pair.  Get bloody real!

Here ya go!  One pair of distressed Diesel (button fly) Jeans from Nordstrom....only $179.00
This is totally ridiculous!  I pay 28 bucks for Carhartts and they will last a helluva lot longger than these rags!
