I just had to!

I know this is off USFA topic, but since I feel at home here I just had to tell.

A couple years back I picked up a Winchester Commemorative 9422 Eagle Scout Rifle from 1985.  My son is in Boy Scouts, he is a Star Scout, and I got this to surprise him when he earns his Eagle.  One of my best friends, who is an Eagle, has a son who just earned his Eagle.  A gun collector called me and said he had another Winchester Commemorative 9422 Eagle Scout that he just picked up and asked if I was interested.  Thinking about my friend's son, sight unseen I said yes.  Last night I picked it up since the Eagle banquet is this Sunday.  To my astonishment, it's the sister to the one I have.

With only a thousand made, what are the odds of finding consecutively numbered guns from 23 years ago.  Of course I told my friend last night if he or his son ever think about selling it, I get first dibs!

Now to bring USFA into the picture, woudln't it be nice if USFA would make Winchester Replicas?

That is an amazingly cool story Doc.

If USFA made Winchesters I woudln't have the money to put the kids through college.

They might since Winchester is out of business.
