Colt Anodizing?

Hi,
I am looking at a Colt Cobra that has a total of 6 rounds through it from an Aunt who bought it new.  She kept it under her pillow all these years, and the frame's anodized finish is shot, no pun intended.  Are there any gunsmiths that can do this kind of finish?  If the frame got refinished, this thing would be like brand new, just from the 50's.

Try Colt - they still produce aluminum-framed guns on the current production line, so your Cobra is a natural.

Alternatively, you could have it nickel-plated, as that was a common finish at the time.
