Howdy Ladies and Gentlemen ;) Been awhile since I have last been on this forum. Had a lot happen in a short amount of time, ah well guess that is life. This pass weekend I visited the folks and got to go by the Cabelas at Reno, NV. and got to hold not one but two original Spencers, boy did it make this sour face smile ;D ;D ;D. One was an 1860 and the other an 1865, both carbines. Not only that they also had a military issue Henry (40,000 though) The Spencers were 1800 to 2900. It was a great feeling to hold these pieces of history and to educate the sales person on them, apparently from what my dad said I had a little audience to :D Goes to tell you people do like these old firearms, they just need to be told about them. Now I just got to get one of my own :D

Thanks C.M............... My son used to work at that Cabella's...and I am in Reno today....maybe I will run up there and take a look....  maybe they have them listed "on-line"......if you look up Cabela's on-line and look in the shooters library it will search all the gun rooms in their system and show ya what they have system wide....kinda neat but usually they are expensive...
