First match with new Spencer

Three weeks ago I got my new Spencer in 45 Colt.  With a few trips to the range, it seemed to break-in nicely and I shot it in a match for the first time this week-end.  What a HOOT!  Not only was I the hands-down style points winner, but I cleaned the match.  My new Spencer brought me luck.  In addition to bering clean for the match, I finished dead last.  It was a 10 stage match and I estimate that using the Spencer added about 45 seconds to each stage I shot.  I usually shoot a 73 carbine and with no re-loads and not having to manually cock the hammer it is much quicker to use.  But speed is not my game, fun is, and the Spencer sure maxxed out the fun factor.
