But I almost felt sorry fer my spotter, notice how he's tried ta locate himself upwind....with minimal success!

LOL!! Slim, that's down at the Mizzoura Boat Ride, near Fayette Mo.

Actually the range itself is pretty plain, big open space and not a whole lot of shade trees (although they do provide lots of shelter space to get out of the sun). Moniteau Creek River Raiders are a fun bunch to shoot with though! And the surrounding country is purdy ta look at!

That boat ride was a blast.I was shooting frontiersman, my '66 jammed and I shot the last 16 or 17 targets with my shotgun. Barrels got really hot! But it sure was a fun shoot.

Good ta have you stop in here! That match was indeed a major hoot, wadn't it!?!?!?! I have shot one match frontiersman style, but I've got a long ways ta go in the learnin' process when it comes to managing my 58s! I've shot  one fer many years in frontstuffer competition, but this cowboy stuff is a whole different ball game! (pun intended again  ) Shootin' the Boat Ride wif  C&Bs would be one heck of an accomplishment, you can pat yerself on the back fer havin' the cajones to do it!

Again, good ta have ya here! Stop by 'n palaver whenever ya got a notion. We'uns git ta thinkin' we know it all purdy good, but anuther voice addin' ideas is a good thing too!
