I forgot to tell y'all that my lovely daughter got married about three weeks ago, to a fellow named Sten Ole - yep, he's Norwegian. They're in Trondheim now, settled in and getting him through an engineering degree. She's got a budding career as an operatic soprano too. Her mother and I are very proud and happy, but just between us, I hope they decide to come baclk and settle down here in the US of A.

Isn't it funny how your kids get stuck in your head at a particular age? At the wedding I told her that if I'm so blessed that one day she hands me a newborn and says, "Daddy, this is your grandchild," I'll look at her and say, "But Angel, you can't have a baby, you're only three years old."
