            Nice job Pard, you sure have come a long ways in this last year, how's it feel when you strap it on, this rig really looks good , did you use the vinigaroon dye, I just finished up a batch this week , and I can't believe the results, this stuff is the best black I've used yet, anyway you did good Pal, and I'm proud of you, keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see what you will do next.....

Yes that is vinagroon and I love it!! It is black Black  Dyes fast, and takes 3 days for the smell to leave, i have got to get me some walnuts to make me some of the Brown! I love the way it feels, going to make a similar one in brown a little diff. That was still all made with scrape leather, I bought that buckle set for $5.00 at a flea market, I ran arcrossed the studs at a craft place that sells that Iron stuff made in mexico, I cannot find anymore anywhere!
I still need lots of practice on my stiching and someday I am going to learn to carve, but I want to get everything else down pat first. I hopeing it is okay, I am going to post it up in the show your stuff, with more pics! all the stamps used I made!

Santee, I was looking threw the Packing Iron getting Idea's and I have allways love the CRoss, maybe because of it meaning, and i tried to style it off of a Mexican Hollywood Holster. i only hope that i can learn to carve someday! I think if a person like me to learn to carve it would open more doors! i have no artistic ability a tall. On this one, i got my belt design in my mind and put it on paper, then I put it on art board in full scale. And then i drew out the holster design, then I looked at my stamps, and then the tandy stamp book and got some ideas and made my stamps, the cross stamps I had allready made, and the one stamp I used on my give away rig, I made a couple more but didn't use them.
