Can we organize a USFA tour for this Summer 2008?

I am curious if anyone would be interested in taking a tour of the USFA facility as a USFA CSS group this summer?  I know it may be a plane ride or long drive in my case, but I think it would be great to meet some of the USFA staff and some of the folks here on the board while taking a tour of the greatest SAA mf'g facility in the World.  Let me know and I will see about requesting dates and times, hotels etc.

I would love to say yes, but I am going in the wrong direction this summer.  However, I toured the USFA plant in 2007 with Gary Granger.  It was definitely an eye opener.  I was very pleased to see how modern the technology was that was being incorporated with traditional hand fitting in making such fine firearms.  A machine just can not duplicate the same finish that a hand can, since it is the hand that is ultimately handling the firearm.  I couldn't speak with Mr. Donnely, but I saw him there working.  It felt good to know Mr. Donnely is keeping a direct handle on things.  It was also good to get a tour with Gary, since he is the guy you talk to.  He definitely is up to speed with all of the facets of the production and ordering.  If you go, make sure you visit the little parts man, the man that keeps it all moving, the guy making the screws and small parts like pins and bushings.  He is the center of it all.

How can anyone plan more than 2 weeks in the future?  Not with my burden.  However, if a tour is arranged; my in-laws live in east Pennsylvania and I may make the trip.  So let me know when!
