I've got a Wheeler Engineering vise from Midway.  It's a great vise for working on guns, just need some leather to pad the jaws.  I also have a Stanley vise I picked up at Lowes.  It's a quick adjust with rubber padded jaws, light duty but great for cleaning guns.  I've had for several years now and works great for gun cleaning.  I use the Wheeler for heavier duty work.

The one I really like is built by Berry's Mfg.
It is made of square steel tube & bolts to the floor.
I gotta get me one!!!!
