Found out I work with a decendant of Minie

He traced his lineage to Claude Etienne Minié, but, refuses to use the French pronunciation. (they dropped that WAY back when, so he says)

My co worker giggled when I mentioned I cast my own bullets and load my own ammo. Thats when he told me his story.

His family is not "anti-gun", but, because of the popularity of their history, they kind of shy away from smoke-pole fanatics.

He has a Winchester shotgun and a Marlin rifle...
