Speaking of selling iron frame Henries, I suddenly find I need to sell mine.  I had two rude awakenings in the mail yesterday.  First I found that the house I just bought and closed on two weeks ago now has taxes due Monday./ Second, the house I just sold in CA has a large supplemental back taxes due because the county re-evaluated it after the sale or some such non-sense.

I have to sell my Henry (or Taylor's Spencer, which I can't do) and my Stag Arms M4 (AR-15). The Henry is an Steel frame, color case hardened, with Henry marked sling and swivels, 44-40.  It is in excellent condition with gorgeous wood.  It is an early production gun (late 80s, if I remember right) that sat in a gun safe for the better part of 20 years.

I am selling it and (5) BAC 44-40 boxes re-labeled with reproduction Henry labels for $795 including shipping and insurance to FFL of your choice.  I can take credit card through my wife's kennel business and faxed FFL.

Contact me off list at my email, as CAS City is blocked by my school I work at. <imarangemaster@yahoo.com>

Sure hate seeing folks haveing to sell their gun collections over hard times ..It seems like I`ve seen it happen too many times this past year .....Money is tight these days , sure hope the future gets a little brighter .

Sorry to hear about that.  Now, is it just me, or is there something inherently wrong with having to sell a gun to pay taxes.

Makes you wonder what our founding fathers would say about that.
