KIK powder

I`m fixing to order my yearly case of powder , and have been looking at the KIK brand powder , it`s almost 2 bucks less a can than Goex ..and I don`t know anyone that has used it ..Does anyone here have expecience with it ?  Like gas the price of powder keep riseing , every little bit helps .

I use it. It's slightly more powerfull than Goex, not bad fouling wise, and is pretty consistant too. And with a $2 per ppound savings, well worth it!

Howdy,

I've been using KIK for a year now and really like it.

I use a full case of powder behind an 180gr lyman 2-groove bullet in my 38-40 rifle and pistols.

It is a big, big improvement over the Elephant powder I was shooting with regards to fouling.  Velocity is higher also.

I've even had good luck with it in my long range rifles.

Got a chance to open a can of the KIK powder this weekend ...I really like it , tested it in my flintlock and cap lock rifles ..and a Remmie ....very good results in all 3 ..I didn`t put any through my crono ..because all the guns seemed to think it was Goex. Clean up was the same too . Breathing much easyer now about the 24 cans I have left ...

Had a chance to use some KIK in BPCR last month and had great results. Am now getting my order ready for some as well. If you don't mind sharing Sundance, where did you get the best buy and what was the final $?

I bought a 25 lb case of the 3f KIK from Powder INC. final cost to my front door was 257.00 . the Goex would have been 296.00.
