That is a great price. That book is worth every penny to those that don't have it and need McDowell's insight and pictures of all of the MFg. Conversions, not just Colt's.

Buy it quick boys thia is ia great price for it. I wouldn't sell mine for $400.00 and it's well used now.
If i had the extra coin, I'd buy it.

Thanks for the kind words, Charlie!  I have gotten much joy from reading and perusing McDowell's book.  I believe it's time to pass it on for someone else to enjoy.  It's just been sitting on my bookshelf for over 2 years now.

I'm curious...I'm not a collector and do have the other book on conversions. Does this one show many pictures of engraved conversions? I might be interested. Thanks
