Happily, the PC is restored.  Kinda nervous for a moment.   :o

Shucks, Arcey, I enjoy reading your posts.  Oh well.  And same for you, Pettifogger.  Maybe next time.

Believe I've come to an informed decision, thanks to y'all.  I'll post some pics when it arrives.

Thumbs up.

Cimmaron Model P.  Basic, not cavalry model, 7 1/2" barrel, .45, old model frame.  Will use with my C&B '60 Army.

Will have to wait on another cartridge revolver, but that will likely either be a GWII Custom or USFA.  Long way off because...  there's the little matter of SxS and lever gun.  The latter will have to be '73 SRC, but hopefully previously cared for to save some $$$.

Again, great dialogue, folks.  Lots of good ideas from a very helpful bunch.

I've even managed to be less verbose as I've learned more!  ;D

As promised, when it arrives (and I have some leather for it), I'll post some pics.

Oh boy, oh boy... ! :P

Black Powder:  If I may say so, very wise choice and I think you will be really happy with the Cimarron Model P.  With any SAA check to make sure the screws are tightened down as they work themselves loose after a few shooting sessions.  The GW II will make a nice companion to the Model P.

How-Do Pard

Making sure the screw's are tight is a must do , but make sure you use the right screw driver head before you do this, I don't know if you have a good set of gunsmithing screw drivers, or not , but if you don't , you can go to www.brownells.com they have  some model correct drivers , at a good price.

Good Shooting Pard , I know you will enjoy your new gun  ;D

                                                      Ten Wolves  ;) :D ;D

Thanks, VG.  I'm gonna visit my friendly dealer and give him the oppty to quote and/or order me for his reasnoable $20 transfer fee.

10 Wolves - who'da thunk that?  I will get me them so I don't do what I wouldn't've thought was an idiotic thing to do.  Thank you!
