I may have my new Spencer with me on Friday, however I will not have shot it yet. I have some dummy rounds with me so I can test the feed & ejection, if it functions well, & trigger pull isn't too bad, I may change categories.

My Spencer came in, my initial dummy rounds didn't work so well, (will be OK for single load, but not from magazine). Made up some dummies with another type of bullet, worked pretty good. Loaded up 80 rounds this AM, my first shots will be shot in the competition. I checked with both Fin & Feather & Scheels, neither had any factory 44 Russian. I still may check Fin & Feather on the way home. The person I talked with on the phone didn't seem the brightest, when I asked if they had any 44 Russian ammunition, he asked me what caliber?

So Dale won't be in a category by himself.

Dang! looks like I'm gonna miss another great event and a number of friends.
I've been on travel 4 of the past 5 weeks (& just got home today)...Time flies too fast.

Have fun at the Range, It's definitely my favorite!
