[Ottawa Creek Bill]

The SMVS will have a members meeting at the McDonald's in Martinsville Saturday, August 25th, 2007 at 11:00am. It's to take our members to the range and get them acclimated to the area and see the facilities.

I'll be mailing out a letter in the next couple of days that will have a map of the range and how to get to the McDonald's in Martinsville....Anyone is welcome to attend, hope to see you there.

My wife Pat and I are going down there tomorrow morning to dig sassafras. I'm gonna take some photos of the range and post them here tomorrow afternoon, if, the good lords willing and the creeks don't rise.

I got your letter, too.  I hope to be there, but since this is 2 days before "the wedding" and 2 days after some family arrives from Scotland, I can't say for sure.  If I CAN make it, I may bring a nephew or two with me, if that'd be OK.

I'll try and teach 'em what REAL freedom is really about.  Something that seems to be getting swept under the rug in Great Britain and elsewhere.  But, I'd rather be there than a lot of other places.  At least they DO still have Cowboy Shooting in Britain ... for now.

Hopefully.....If the weather cooperates...we're going down there tomorrow...If you're ever over here let me know ahead of time and we'll go to a couple of shoots....I'll furnish the firearms and ammo...
