Yep I have owned several. They are a copy of the Remington-Beals Old Model Army due to the covered threads at the breech. If you have small hands they handle and shoot great.
If it is the steel framed model an if you want to get a conversion cylinder for it, Uberti models of R & D and Kirst fit it. There are parts available for them at S & S Firearms.

The 44 cal Euroarms NMA was a very close copy of the Beals Remington NMA and has a finer frame and grips than the other repros. The Pietta is much beefier and weighs more. As for the 36 cal version, I do not know. Mine is an older 36 Euro Remmie but seems to have the same finer frame as the 44 Euro but a shorter barrel. The current Pietta 36 "navy" Remingtons are the larger framed 44s with the 36 chambers and bores. I wouldn't be surprised if the 36 cal Pietta weighed as much as the 44. I've heard from those who have them that there is NO RECOIL. I like my Euro 36 Remington and have 3 of their 44s because of their much smaller grips and lighter frames..

Since I have 14+ guns, I've been called the Imelda Marcos of Cap&Ball. Now, that's a COMPLIMENT!
