In Honor of "Smokeout" Day

Apparently it's some sort of National Stop Smoking Day

So in honor of that, I'm gonna make sure to light up a few bowls of pipe tobacco! Gotta support our farmers dontcha know.

It is National Toilet Paper Day in protest to all stooopid holidays with no meanin. I gave it up this spring, no way in H377 I'd do it today. But I like yer post, yer on the same wavelength.

Sadly it's that tellin' someone else what to do has become PC, if you are with the in do gooders crowd. I quit smokin' this spring cause I wanted the money fer other things like dutch ovens.

We all know that smokin' ain't good fer ya, but I also don't think it is that bad. At one time stickin' yer nose in other folks bussiness was considered bad fer yer health. Maybe we need a National Mind Yer Own Bussiness Day.

Right now I am at my parents setting with my Mom that the Dr say she has only a few months to live.
She has lung cancer!

My Beloved Grandpa died of Lung Cancer from Smoking, that Spread to his Brain and Killed him.
He was among the Smartest and most Wonderful People I have Ever known. I Miss him Something Fierce.
I could Tell Grandpa Anything that I couldn't tell Anyone else.
I Don't want to Lose Anyone here or Elsewhere that I consider both Friends and Kin to something as Awful as Lung Cancer.

I don't want to either lose anyone or die of it that's why I quit this "Spring." I did it cause I wanted to, not because anyone told me to. And that has been my point and I am sure DS's point here. I still live in a mostly free country, or at least here in Newbrasskey. And that has been my point, I do things by my choice as much as possibe. That includes smoking or not, hunting or not and even owning guns or not. I was taught that is the American way.

CanChaserKate Thats exactly what happened to my grandfather too, 20 yrs ago. I was the only grandchild and my dad worked nights when I was young so grandpa got to teach my hunting and Fishing, also how to make a corn cob pipe. I havent smoked for 16 yrs.

Mom just couldnt Quit. Now its very hard on my Dad and me taking care of her.
If you dont care about yourself then fine but try to remember what you put the ones you love through. I do have a lot more to say but about it but wont cause it wont change much, unless you really want to.

Lack of exercise kills as many or more but the last thing I want to see is a "Get up off yer asre day". This is still a thing betwwen those involved, I don't tolerate folks who are not very close to me tellin' me what I need to do and what I don't need to do.

That was the point of my somewhat in fun "National Toilet Paper Day" the same day, to help those not smart enough or with the gumption to do things on their own initative. Anyone who wants, can quit drinkin' and can quit smokin' if they want to. To say different is an excuse. That comes from someone clean and sober fer 19 years and who quit smokin' cold turkey
6 months ago. God gives you the tools, get themout of yer tool box on yer own and use them. But don't tell me how to do something unless I ask.

I am sorry your loved ones made that choice, but it was their choice, just like a wrong choice a friend made 2 weeks ago and I will miss him. But I do not want to see a National Don't Hang Yourself Day. I know why he did it, even though the problems could have been solved, but I could blame things that are somewhat sacred to some folks, because they were a part of the problem. But it all boils down to choice, his choice or any others, and what they make as a choice right or wrong is their choice.

I've used the word chice a lot, because that is still what it is all about choice, right or wrong.

Careful, weeeman can also be bad fer yer health, we gonna have to have a National Give up Weeman Day, but that would be sexist. Ok how 'bout a National Give Up the Opysite Sex day. Brrr that gave me chills, could be misunderstood. But if I said something b'bout folks givin' up the same sex I might offend someone. Dern polyyyticaly correct world where I gots to be carful and not offend folks who offend me.

Ok lets have a National Yer Rights End When They Interfere With My Rights Day. Also known as National Mind Yer Own Bussiness Day. Folks would be better off correctin' theor own faults, it is easier and more polite than trying to correct whart you see as faults in others. As they say opinions are like..............................................................Everyone has one.
