More Help Needed - Identification of Holster Maker
« on: June 16, 2007, 05:24:36 AM »
Hello to the fire: purchased this strong side holster for my OT from a German CAS outfitter SPIRIT OF THE OLD WEST who seems to be out of business. Now, I need another one for the left side. Can you help me to identify the holster maker from Tucson, AZ like providing an email or www that I can get in touch with him?
Thanks.

Looks like the ones made for 'Classic Old West Styles'.

'The Fort' - in Lincoln, Nebraska, has some still - you can call them toll-free at - 1-877-907-3678 - X199 - or email them at terrylane@fortoutfitter.com.

Ask for Terry or Glen.

As an aside - matched gunleather was quite uncommon during the period.

This allows you a very wide choice, should you so desire...

COWS does make a lot of leather with other folks names on it, looks like a COWS to me, I could bring my camera tommorow and take a picture if you want.

Thanks for your help, pards.
Was able to research the name of the holster maker outfit in Tucson, AZ. It is "Old Pueblo Leather" or "Old Pueblo Leather Maker". Cannot find them on the internet, however.
Does any of you know them and is there a www or fax number available?
Thanks, Bootsie
