New Ruger Montados

I've seen the Ruger Montados at Davidsons and Doc has a brace for sale here.
They sey a modified grip frame and I see a low hammer like a Blackhawks or Bisley.
Now as these pistols are made by Ruger can they then be ok as main Match pistols in sass.
I don't think so as rules state that you can't change the Vaqueros hammer.
I like the lower hammer for Duelist or Gunfighter.

Deadeye Don

There has been a discussion on the SASS wire about these.  I believe the consensus is that they are good to go for mounted shooting ONLY and NOT for "foot" shooting.   Ruger was pretty clear in its intentions and designed it for mounted shooters.  Safe shooting.  Deadeye.

As far as I know, SASS has not made a ruling on them.
