Getting ready to head out Saturday morning for Hooten. We have to get everything in order for the festivity. We'll see you there. Looks like the weather will be warm and sunny.

The Crab Orchard Cowboys will arrive on Wednesday . We can't wait to see everyone . We have the side matches ready for Thursday ,and a GOOD TIME we shall have .

Bob, Larry said the key for the cabin would be in the same place as last year......only problem is that you got the key for me last year.

We will be there either Sunday evening or Monday sometime. Depends on if we feel like driving straight through or not.

This will be my last computer check before we leave.

The first wave of the KVC will leave early tomorrow morning.

The second wave will leave 24 hrs. later.

Once all are on site, there should be 7 of us.

Shot a match today and tested my new loads. I am satisfied. Enough recoil to help cock the pistol when shooting Duelist and very flat shooting. Got more accustomed to the webbed shotgun belt I will be using and that new bofangled Marlin I picked up just to stay compliant with NCOWS rules. Not as fast as the Uberti, but it'll do. I can't say enough how much I am looking forward to this....One more day of werk $:-\$

Howdy,

I am nearly packed. Toiletries is about all that is left to pack and have to shave before they can be packed. Only 10 hours till we are on the road!

And then it is only a 12 hour drive!

Today is Monday. I'm about 75% packed and 100% ready!

Whiskey Mike (Mike Locker) and I will be there late(ish) Tuesday evening.

Tony Hollandsworth and Dave Hollandsworth (no, they're BROTHERS - NOT man and wife!

) will be arriving Thursday. They are last minute attendees - I called Ralph already, so they have arrangements for their trailer and electricity, just not registration.
