I just finished watching "Extreme Marksmen" on History International.  It is kind of the same as that show on the History Channel with all the replicated trick shots and such.  Any way at the very end Tom Knapp the shotgun exhibition shooter was doing a little shooting in an old style shooting gallery he had set up.  The cool part was he was using a IRON FRAME HENRY to do his shooting.

I saw that on the History Channel.  Very cool.  Theres a longer version of it without the archer thats on sharpshooters alone.  Good stuff.

I saw the Henry in the background, but missed him shooting it later.  :'(

Yeah and I missed it in the background and saw him shooting it.  We seem to be splitting the difference.

At one point he may have been using a little Browning .22, but he also used the Henry too. ;D

You might want to keep your eyes glued to the History Channel here in the near future.  R. Lee Ermey (AKA The Gunny), is doing another show.  From what I gather, it's a little similar to Mail Call, but with more emphasis on shooting, the shooters and the history behind the weapons.  Much less of the "Gunny", and a lot more "R. Lee Ermey".   He was out here last weekend in MD & VA filming.  They filmed at a SASS match in MD on Saturday, then came out to Winchester VA to the N-SSA's Ft. Shenandoah to film.  They filmed one of the N-SSA's top shots (& fort Caretaker) shooting a variety of BP rifles.  One of the highlight shots was Tim firing a Steel Frame Henry at a gong at 300 yds.  The man can shoot!

On the flip side, got to meet the Gunny.  He's just like he is on TV,  real personable and easy to talk to. Just the kind of guy you'd like to hang out with on a sunday shooting BP.
