What differences are there between the Single Action Army and the U.S. Pre-War?  They look almost identical.  What am I missing.

Single Action Army= conventional blue, hammer in white

U.S. Prewar= oven heat blue, color case hardened hammer

Well, shoot.  Now I don't know what I actually have.  I bought this gun as pre-owned and assumed it was just a SAA, but it may actually be the U.S. Pre-War.  I have the case hardened hammer but the web site shows that as a $115 option on a SAA, but standard on the Pre-War.

I guess I need to call the factory and give them the serial.

Any other suggestions?
