Can someone help ID a 32-20 Colt SSA pistol ? SN 999XX  Year made??  ;D  Thanks, Colonel John Hays

The serial number places it's frame's construction in late 1883.

Serial numbers began at the first of the year - 1883 began at 85000 - 1884 began at 102000.

The .32-20 was introduced in 1884.
