I was told,,that an RM conversion with Army grips (later model  RM conversion) in .44cal offerings with a 4 3/4 barrel was under work and might be available soon.

Id really like to have a .44colt,4 3/4 inch barrel RM conversion

Dont hold your breath.  I am still waiting for my Taylors (Uberti) 1871 RM conversion of the 1860 army to come in.  But I agree that would be a nice little revolver.   Safe shooting.  Deadeye.

Yeah, Cimarron shows that gun on their website, too, but they have not received any thus far.  Another "one of these days" gun.  Your better (quicker) choice would be to buy a longer barrelled gun and have the barrel shortened.
