Reb Tyree

Gentleman of the Dept of the Pacific

Rise up from your winter quarters and report in.  I have not received any dispatches from the outposts.  I need a current status report on all unit members in the Dept of the Pacific.  Tis good to feel the warm sun again.  God speed to all.  I await your dispatches pending further orders.
I have the Honor to remain,

Your Obedient Servant,

(SFC) Bvt Lt. Col Reb Tyree, CSA
Chief of Staff, Dept of the Pacific,
Grand Army of the Frontier

Captain Lee Bishop

The winter was especially harsh this year, makes me almost look back fondly on the steamy shores of Cuba (then I think of that oppressive heat, no, I don't even miss Tampa!)
Did battle with some wayward outlaws as of late, trodding on my lands granted to me by the government after my service against foreign foes...
But all is good, haven't lost my touch with Mr Colt's six-shooter, it seems. Dispatched the miscreants in a quick, military manner...

Oh, I was also finally got a print of the photo from that minor skirmish I was in down in Cuba. The funny thing is someone blew out some smoke or something just as the photo was taken...
