It is finally here.

Several days ago I received and installed a Kirst Ejector for my 1862 Police and 1861 Navys.

Below are pictures of my 1862 Police.

They are really well made and are bolt on.

Took me about 5 minutes for installation and they went right on without any filing or fitting.

Kudos to Walt Kirst for another fine product.

Look great and work great.

Is that a 5 and one (safety) or a full 6 shot cylinder? Looks great. Did you port it yourself or did it come that way?

Now you have me slobbering over one for my 2nd Gen Colt 1851 Navy.

Charlie:

The 1862 Police is a full 6 shot cylinder well as my 1861.

I ground the Port with my dremel, took a little while letting her cool off when she got to hot.

Cycles and Shoots very well.

As you can see my 1862 has an Older, Open Port instead of the loading gate but I have had no problems with it.

The revolver is a Pietta with all Kirst Konversion Parts.

I plan to remove the Lever Support as soon as I have time.

Good Shooting.

I just acquired a couple Pietta's ('58 Remy NMA and a 1851 Navy) from the Remington Kid. I may be in the market for a conversion cylinder and the ejector assy for the Navy . It has the best action job I have ever felt. Even with the army grips and my small hands I can thumb cock the Navy (NMA too) with my gun hand and the trigger pull is great too. I know they both shoot well also.
