Whilst camping a Pinos Altos, NM a coupla days ago, I was given a True West (??) magazine to check out.  NICE MAGAZINE!!!
It had the magazine's choice of many western items & services----revolvers, leather, B&B's, restauraunts, etc, etc.
When I found the six-guns---The magazine chose Uberti.  But the readers chose RUGER.
Says a lot, don't it?

Rugers, IMNSHO are among the "BEST" guns being mass produced today, bar none. COLT is living on its reputation, USAFs are too expensive, for the middle-class. and foreign made arms, while acceptable to some are not acceptable to me (with one exception) that being Daivd Pedersoli's reproduction long arms. But then that's mah druthers.
Now before anyone gits on thar high-hoss 'bout the words "middle-class" in reference to USAFs If I were working I probably could afford them. But I'm retired middle-class, an 'sides I ENJOY my OMV Rugers! An thas th trut!

"A gun is  just a tool. No better and no worse than any other tool----- Think of it always in that way. A gun is as good--- and as bad--- as the man who carries it. Remember that."
