Gone also are several groundhogs.  Bear kills 'em pronto.  Bear wants an early spring and 'em Sun Prairie whistle pigs were talkin' long winter.  Supposed to get down to 18 degrees tonight.  Spring went back south again.  Bear is pi$$ed.  I think Bear would bite Al Gore too. . . . .

I would guess those are snowshoe hare ears, or do you have jackrabbits up there?  Splitin' hares or hairs, neither is a rabbit, but a hare.

Them wats living in my yard are wascally wabbits!  When my dog finally caught one [long ago in my and his youth] he came back with a disgusted look on his face and trying to spit out the hair! NOT hare hair!

Sorry DD, I looked out at the driveway after supper and there was a great big bunny wearin' a vest an'  findin' all the eggs the stoopid neighbor missed yesterday.  I think yer dog got a double.  That long-ear even had spectacles.
