1858 Loading Levers

Well, I finally broke down and bought a 5 1/2" Remington from Cabelas, and it is a whole lot nicer than past Pietta's.  I have a 8" model and I am going to cut it to match, since it is finally broke in after about 12 years.  VTI didn't have the loading lever for the 5 1/2 in stock for Pietta.  I was considering working over a lever for the .36 Pietta it's about 1/2' longer.  However, I did notice a loading lever for the Uberti 5 1/2 so I am checking if they are in stock.  I was just wondering if any of you knew if the Uberi would be close enough to fit a Pietta?

Cut down the long loading lever. It'll look better, anyway. Here are mine, one with the 5 1/2" lever and one with a cut-down 8" lever.
