I see so many options im stumped now.

I was 'thinking' of one of the extended wheel base wagons from John Deere,,,with the wooden side boards and make me a 'western wagon' gun cart. Ya know,,,like a freight wagon,,only a miniture one,,,a strongbox for 'stuff', with a fold up and latch in place rifle rack....just some musing here on making such a pull wagon look 'western.'

Anyone ever do a guncart from one of thes top quailty pull wagons ?

The nice thing about a 4 wheeled cart is you don't have to balance it. You just lean into it and haul it. A 2 wheeled cart has to be ballanced as you pull it or push it. If you're pushing it and the wheels stop in a rut, it can be a little bit discombulating. The heavier the cart and the load, the worse the effect.

Of course 4 wheeled carts tend to be bigger and heavier in the first place, and take up more room in a vehicle. But you don't have to ballance them when you move them. You pays your money, you takes your choice.
That's bad business! How long do you think I'd stay in operation if it cost me money every time I pulled a job? If he'd pay me that much to stop robbing him, I'd stop robbing him.

Ya probably inherited every penny ya got!

And, when one leans a two-wheeler back to move it, one becomes a load bearing element.  That tends to be a bit much on long walks between stage sets.  Especially if one carries a lot of junk – like I tend to do.

I've built both.  I've never had a two-wheeler I've cared about enough to keep.  Best memory the four-wheeler I'm using now was built in January of '03.  Unless it falls apart Saturday I think I'll keep it.

I used a three wheel baby jogger as a base and frame, low weight, folds up, big wheels like a kids bicycle. I like it a lot. No Photos yet.

Look at the last cart on page three, Deadwood.  That's on a jogger frame.

Most the folks I know what converted the joggers found 'em at yard sales after the kids got too big for 'em.

I keep lookin' when I drive by one.  When I find it that'll be my next project.
