Chuck Burrows from Wild Rose Trading Co. has been a busy man. Doc Neeley posted pictures of the great looking leather he got form Chuck and I thought I would post pictures of the botas I just received from him.
A few weeks ago I posted the pictures of the belt, pouch and holster I got from Chuck for my mountain man, turned buffalo hunter, turned scout in the 1870's personna, and now I have the botas to go along with them.
The real thing is even better than the pictures. The hand beading and antiquing is superb.
Chuck is definitely an artist.

All America lies at the end of the wilderness road, and our past is not a dead past, but still lives in us. Our forefathers had civilization inside themselves, the wild outside. We live in the civilization they created, but within us the wilderness still lingers. What they dreamed, we live, and what they lived, we dream. -- T.K. Whipple

Will,

Those are some fine looking botas.   8)

The first picture on Wild Rose's Botas page are the ones that I had Chuck make for me back in '02.
I had won a gift certificate from Wild Rose at the Northwestern Regional.

Like you I came out of the buckskinning/rendesvous arena.

Enjoy them.  ;D
