Your 58 Remy is a 1979 model (AE) the proof marks are the proof house of Gardone, Italy
Look under the rammer for a DGG, also on the grip frame under the left grip. If you find DGG it is an Armi San Paolo or Euroarms.
If you find a diamond with FAP in it it's a Pietta, Uberti would have a U encircled by a gun bore((Octagonal with Rifling.U is in the center of the bore).
Hope this helps.

Charlie left one more out: look for SM or ASM for Armi San Marco.

Euroarms/Armi San Paolo.
Should be a good shooter.
These are closest to the original size of the Remington-Beals Old Model Army. (No threads showing at breech like the New Model Army's.

I can't wait to shoot it I got it with three other BP guns- a little double barrel pistol, Philidelphia derringer, and a .44 cal single shot for $100 bucks, a good deal.

Yep if they are all shooters a great deal. The Remy is worth that alone or more. They run $125.00-$170.00 on Gunbroker and they are $220.00 New at S&S Firearms. S &S also has Euroarms Parts too.
