How wide are you guys making your bullet and shotgun loops?

Travis...I make them 1" for the 12 and 20 gauge shotgun...and 5/8" for the handgun calibers...sometimes I go 3/4"  I use 4-5 oz. for the loops

On pistol cartridges: generally 1" as it was the size seen most often on 19th Century originals. On request or when making double row loops I will make them 3/4" of 7/8"

Shotgun and large rifle cartridges are generally 1-1.5" depending on caliber/gauge and size of cartridge.

I use 3/4 oz normally for loops again as that is what most originals of the period used.........
