Put your away toothpaste boys!! :o

Because the toothpaste action jobs cannot hold a candle to West Fargo's action work!

While out at Winter Range yesterday, I had the opportunity to stop in at West's tent and speak to him about a mutual friend. In the course of our conversation we start dicussing the Ruger New Vaquero, and with myself wearing a brace of RNVs, he directed me to a RNV that he had done his magic on, to try the action on it.
All I can tell ya, boys, at that instance I changed my mind about not having any work done on mine. It was absolutely the smoothest, slickest Ruger that I have ever wrapped my fingers around. And at $85 for the basic action job on a RNV, you're not gonna find a better deal!

Now, all I have to do, is convince Mama that I really need to get them done, and my RNVs will be off to see West.  ;D

Go for the full four click action, the complete trigger job,  as well as the hammer short stroke mod.  Those really feel good in a new model Vaquero and all Rugers for that matter.

I tried a pair of Wes's Rugers the last time I was in Tucson.

SWEET!!!!!!!

I'd have him work on the next pair of Vaqueros!

The Wes six-guns I shot were OM-type Blackhawks.   ;D  ;D
Not "short stroked", but they were so slick, I didn't miss it.

I think they belonged to JB Fast, if'n I recollect rightly(????).
