Have you ever seen a triangle bore? N0?

Sure - and bores shaped like stars, octagons and the like.

They were common in Medieval Europe - to use against Moslems and any non-Christians that happened to be handy.

No idea how well or how far they shot - but I don't think that accuracy was much of a factor - so much as the terrifying wound the round would leave.

Then again - the mere sound of the thing would terrify, so...

Remember - during this era - shooting into a mass formation was common and troops were often fresh from the fields and herds and not professional by any standard.

A psychological weapon would be most effective.
