And would like to report that my two Original Remy Pistolas ROCKED!! Shot as good as brand new guns, and they're both 140 plus years  in age.
Both did fabulous. Not a bobble out of either.

My Winchester 73 could not speak as well. It has extractor problems. I just had to remember to push down on the extractor and lever it slowly.

Remy Shotgun rocked as well. With it's new recoil pad, I don't even have a bruise on my shoulder. We have a Ro that likes to have us shoot 6 or more shotgun rounds on his stages. So we shot the shotgun a lot today.

Out of 5 stages I had 3 misses with the Winchester, 2 with the shotgun. The only OH!_OH! I had was my Original with the R & D Cylinder in it has a worked down cylinder pin (Euroarms) and it filled with gunk and was very hard to retract to get the R & D cylinder out to unload and the last stage.

The Armory Conversion performed like a champ and shoots really sweet.

BTW All were BP loads except the Shotgun.

Charlie,....
Sounds like you had a rockin good time of it today,....great!  ;D

I wonder if making grooves in the cylinder bearing surfaces of that Euroarms replacement pin
would help the binding problem  by holding more lube there?,.......or would it provide more room for the lube to load up with fouling & bind?......hehe
Maybe you've tried that yourself,..i can't remember if you mentioned it in the past. Silver Creek Slim , over on the Darkside, mentioned recently that grooving the pin in his '75 Rem has helped more to keep things running smoothly. He posted a pic of the pin with the grooves cut, and explained how he did it in the drill press. I think I may give that a try sometime,...just to see how well it'd work.
