First one is the Cabelas offering, Pro Custom Oil from Brownells on the grips with my inlays of Remington Peters .45 cal. shell case, live primers of course.

Second is also Cabelas offering, case-hardened frame, nice checkering too. This gun is absolutely beautifull witht he Jewelled Engraved Conversion Cylinder from R and D .
This one I am not touching, which is rare for me not to monkey around with the fit or finish on a pistole ? Being a gunsmith, I can attest this gun needs no attention accept fro smoothing the trigger pull and maybe polishing the blueing a bit. Other than that this is the finest Pietta besides my highly engraved Old Silver that i have ever seen Pieeta produce. For $260 and $ 290 for the Cylinder, this gun is a steal for the money. What a fine shootin iron it is.
Thumbs up for Cabelas and Remington, oh my they made a beautifull design in 58...

I really like the .45 cal inlays. What a good idea. I may have to do something similar to mine. I'll think about that. Sure looks good.

Looks nice, but wouldnt be too comfortable with a "live" primer in the insert.

Why not manually remove the primer compound & anvil?...leaves just an empty cup.....this way it looks "live" but isn't.
