Schofield 3 1/2 " at Shot

I fondled it today.... The Russian is awkward in my hand.
But I really like the Schofield #3 2nd Model and the balance of the 3 1/2" was perfect to me.
I think I might prefer the Russian two lug lock closer..
How does the Schofield frame to lip lock compare in use ?

Been shooting NA 3 1/2 Schofields for over 6 yrs and have had no problems with them.  I like the latch on the Schofield, its easy to open yet hold the frame closed fine.  I find the 3 1/2 in barrel works great for me.  Has the same sight radious as my Colt Gold Cup 1911.  Mine are all in 45 Colt and I shoot full power loads.
