My birthday is a week from Sunday...........I remember because it's my twins birthday too !

Anyway my dear sweet Miss Barbara has suggested a trip to Cabelas in Prarie DuChien Wis. I've had my eye on a 1858 5 1/2 incher for quite a while now, that would compliment the three I already have in eight inch.

I'm afraid I can't resist.

Here's the help: You can then get another 5 1/2" one for a pair and another 8" one to complete the second pair of those.

Of course you need / deserve a new C&B ...... might need a match for it in the future, too.
You might want to pick up some RBs while you're there, if you have need......The price for their "house" brand was quite reasonable last time I was there.

Howdy Slim! It was good seeing you a couple of weeks ago.

Well I did go to Cabelas Sunday . I didn't buy a Remmie . Actually i didn't buy anything!

However tonight I purused Dixie Gunworks website and they had thier Dixie 1858 Remington ( Pietta) marked down so I ordered one to match my other Pietta ( not much of a match my other came with an R&D cylinder for less than I paid for this one). Happy, happy, joy, joy. There's gonna be a new arrival at the Marshals house.  Now, the search for an R&D for this one begins.
