[Dutchy Rodell]

Hi All:  Just got a Message from Papa Bear recognizing me as a SCORRS member.  My SASS alias is "Dutchy Rodell", taken from the movie Ride with the Devil.  I currently have a 1858 Pietta New Army through which I have probably shot 100 rounds.  I'm using 20 grains of 777, although I started with Pyrodex pellets.    I traded in a Beretta Shotgun to get the other guns I will need for Cowboy Action Shooting.  Included in that group is a 1858 Uberti New Army.  The dealer had to order it so I should have it within the next week.  I am interested to see how the two compare against each other as to accuracy and quality.  So far I really like the Pietta and  I'm sure I will be equally happy with the Uberti.  I intend to keep both as Cap and Ball revolvers.  As soon as I learn how to use the Uberti accurately and my new lever rifle, I will enter the llists.  Dutchy
