USFA Screws-Nitre Blue

I wonder why USFA doesn't offer nitre blued screws like many of the imports do?  I did mine at home and it really dresses up the gun.  Even a Rodeo would look better with nitre blue screws.

USFA does offer what they call Fire Blue Appointments.

I use the K Nitrate salts from Brownells that you heat until molten and then immerse the part until the desired color is achieved.  A whole lot cheaper than the $75.00 USFA wants to do it.  I pre polish the parts to 800 grit.
