Howdy Pards:

Has anyone had any experience utilizing a pigskin lining using the "roll over" method, as seen on the El Paso Saddlery Holster #44 "Half Breed".  This is the style used by John  Wayne, in the Shootist.

Could use any information anyone cares to give me on how to do this type of "rollover".

Chapter 5 of YEE HAA!, by Jim Simmons.  I got mine from Tandy.

I did one before I bought the book and could have benefitted from the tips.  I tore apart a thriftstore suede jacket for the lining.  The hardest part was trying to get the turnover right at the front of the holster near the hammer.  I've hesitated about trying another.
