Sorry for your loss, pard.
My dad passed several years ago.
Afterwards for months, when struggling with some problem, I found myself thinking "I gotta call Dad about that".
Immediately I'd realize that could not happen in this world.   But like many others on this list, I know I'll see him again.  I look forward to hearing those fantastic words, "Enter into the joy of your Lord, Good and Faithful servant."
It won't be easy for a while,  you will find tears, I did.  God bless you, and keep you.

My I offer my condolences to you and your family.  I to know how it is, my father also passed on three years ago after a long hard fight with cancer.  The Gunny is at peace and is free of the pain.  He now joins with God.  My Prayers are with you.   "God Bless to the Gunny and Semper Fi!"

My dad passed several years ago. He was a veteran of WWII-90th Inf. landed at Utah beach and fought his way to Germany. He always said that he was going straight to heaven, because he had seen enough of hell. He's probably talking with your father in law about this message as I send it. My condolences to you and your family.
