After the HEGE/Uberti announcement regarding the launch of their Winchester 76 rifle, Chaparral Arms/Germany posted "recommended" loads for their 76 in WAFFEN-Online, which I like to share with you below.
.40-60 WCF caliber: .240 gr. bullet/.406 dia; VihtaVuori N110 - 21 gr or IMR4198 23 gr or Tubal2000 23 gr.
.45-60 WCF and .45-75 WCF: .330 gr bullet/.458 dia; VihtaVuori N110 20 gr or IMR4198 25 gr or Tubal2000 23 gr
.50-95 Winchester: .360 gr/.512 dia; VihtaVuori N110 22 gr or IMR4198 26 g or Tubal2000 26 gr
In addition Chaparral Arms/Germany state that their model 76 is proof tested at the Munich proof house with 2500 BAR. The afore mentioned loads produce a pressure of approx 1200 BAR. No filler material is used in the cases. The barrels are usable for smokeless and blackpowder (no responsibilities taken!).
