It is my pleasure to announce that the organizers of Winter Range have asked the Department of the Platte to be in charge of the color guard for the opening ceremonies at Winter Range 2007.  I believe this will be the biggest SASS match GAF has been involved in.  Winter Range has many military connections:  It is put on by the Arizona Company of Rough Riders;  The 5th Cavalry out of Ft. McDowell, Arizona Territory (recently incorperated into the Department of the Plastte) has done the color guard in the past;  The Buffalo Soldiers re-enactment group has been active there.  This will be a fine opportunity for GAF to show the world what we are about and what we can do.

Any GAF members who are going to be at Winter Range please contact me so we can begin making detailed plans.  My e-mail is:  akbullen2001@yahoo.com

Thanks in advance for your assistance,

Well, dang it.
This will be the first WR since I started going several years back that I have to miss.  >:(

My best wishes for a great turnout of GAF members.
