Saw one of these at a local gun shop and I was impressed.  Really liked it (even though I have expressed some reserve in the past regarding "antiqued" guns).
My question is this - The gun I saw had a sort of a matte silver/steel finish.  The pictures of the Gunslinger on the USFA web site look more blackish in color.  Which one is it?  Anyone got one of these?
You can't change the wind, but you can always change your sails.

I have 3, and they are the silver/steel finish.  I have noticed when they are first new the finish is a darker shade, but after handling and use the finish lightens up a little and really takes on the look of a true Patina finish.

Thanks, Doc, I was just curious.  Those pictures on the USFA web site have a sort of mottled black appearance.

Personally I don't like the finish because it has lots of pits in it and if I am going to spend that kind of money on a SAA I am going to wear it out myself.  Another cheaper way to do it is get a Rodeo and age it yourself and save the extra $.
